Would it be disrespectful to wear a binder as a female?

I don’t think so. I am not really transgender (I’m nb) but I think if you could feel better with a binder, there is no reason for others to be offended (sorry for my bad English btw).

No it's not offensive. There are some lesbians that wear binders. Wear what you feel comfortable with.

100% not offensive. If you want a binder, whether your trans or not, you can get one. They were created for the trans community, but anyone can use them

I see that this post is from two months ago, but I'm trans, and I wouldn't find it offensive. The only way I could see it being offensive would be if you were trying to look/act like a trans person while being cis

It’s not offensive whatsoever. I think it’s kinda like that thing with clothes being uselessly gendered, like, a guy can wear a dress if it makes him comfortable, a girl can wear a suit if it makes her feel comfortable, a cis woman can wear a binder if it makes her feel comfortable, a cosplayer can wear a binder to get into character better. It’s a peace of clothing designed to help people. If you end up liking it then congratulations! If not that’s fine too!
